une nouvelle couleur est noire

It's getting colder and colder. A few days later we will have snow everywhere. Seems like the weather affects my style since I wear a lot of black clothes this winter. Actually, I'm a person who really likes to wear white and pastel colours. These colours fits to the summer but also to the winter period. But style is also a matter of mood. I don't want to say that I'm sad or depressed. No, guys, really no. There are always bad situations in our lives, no matter if it's summer or winter. Some say that winter makes people depressed but I do not agree with that. If you consider the great christmas time, all the lights, smell of cookies and gingerbread and of course the white, pure snow how can somebody don't like these. Would you really reject winter? I think no, right?

I get my fashion inspiration through different sources like pictures, articles but also fashion shows. But what most influences me are pictures which I often find on tumblr since I follow almost hundreds of blogs.
I really like the combination of only black pieces. It really looks elegant. And of course, you can pick one piece in a different colour in order to creat an 'eye-catcher'. I prefer nail polish coloured in yellow, orange but also green and blue. A strong eye-catcher would be a bag or even bright sneakers. So its really depends on you.

 I was in a DIY superstore with my good friend. You can find inspiration everywhere. And in my opinion, the location seems to be good chosen. It was a spontaneous decision and I definitely do not regret it. It was fun and I had a great time. 

What you can see next to me is a magazine. I really like reading magazines, especially Vogue, Elle and Glamour. Vogue, Glamour, GQ, Myself and AD collaborated to create the magazine Quintessence which is fantastic.

Next post will come soon. I really have to work on the videos which I recorded at the AM concert. I have some difficulties with them. But I surely want to post some videos, in that case I have to find a resolution.

We will have you in our hearts, Paul Walker

Sad news in the morning. We now know that Paul Walker, unfortunenately, has passed away. He just turned 40 about 2 months ago. He was my favourite actor and of course, he still will be. Therefore, this article is for him.

I don't know when I began to like Paul Walker. I have almost watched every movie of him. He was a great actor. While I was reading articles about him, I realised that he was not just an actor. He had more interesting aspects of himself. The first thing I read was that he studied marinebiology and had a strong connection to the ocean. He was a surfer and also did scuba diving. Since his interview with David Off Cool Water, I realised that he was right. The ocean is a secret place, the sound, the animals and the colours are just incredible. My interest in the ocean rose. I really wanted to study marinebiology but here, in Germany, it was difficult. Nevertheless, my interest isn't gone. I still want to learn surfing and scuba diving. And in future I really will do that. But this was just one aspect which I really liked about him.

He formed his own organisation Reach Out Worldwide in 2010 to bring aid to regions devastated by natural disasters. It is really honorable if someone wants to help others, to change the world, to make it a little bit better. This shows that he cared about others. But he also liked animals. When I saw these pictures I was so touched.

 

This makes him more sympathic. For me, he always wanted to do something good, to be a good human.

He wasn't just an awesome driver in the Fast and the Furious movies, it was really his passion. I really was shocked because this is dangerous. I was afraid that this could affect him negatively. But not the races took his life. In the end he had an car-accident in California while his friend drove the car. Both lost their lives. My deepest condolence for Paul and his friends' family, friends and fans.

we all still miss you and won't forget you.
I didn't know him personally but his appearance, his deeds and his believes showed me that he was a wonderful man. And I think that all his fans have the same impression about him as I do.

A great breakfast at Sugarbird Cupcakes in Düsseldorf

Yesterday was my sister's birthday. We kinda celebrated it at Sugarbird Cupcakes in Düsseldorf which is a sweet little cafeteria. There, you can buy cupcakes and sometimes tartes as well as bagels and breakfast.
On that day there was a special offer, if you order a breakfast the same second breakfast is free.
My sister and I had to try it, so we went with my mum, who actually does not often go out in Düsseldorf, there and it was delicious.
We ordered 2 vegetarian breakfast and we got 4. I also wanted to eat honey because without sugar I can't handle the day *smile*.

 

It was really awesome. We had so many various things to choose and the bread was also delicious. But that's not all! We also got as customers tiny little cupcakes. It was such a sweet surprise.

It had a cinnamon flavour and since I am a cinnamon admirer I really enjoyed to eat this little precious artwork. I really recommend you to visit Sugarbird. You won't regret it. You will actually love it.

P.S. I went to a concert of the Arctic Monkeys on Monday a week ago. I recorded many videos and took also many pictures that's why I need more time to post the article about the concert. In a few days I will post it. I promise!

After such a long welcome greeting, I want to introduce you to my new, freshy, cheeky and, of course, awesome blog. Just kidding!!
This will be my personal blog where I will post regularly some articles about my life, about what I have experienced during the week, about almost everything that interests me. In that case, this blog will reveal my interests, thoughts, fears and hopes. Therefore, it won't have a 'category'. It is neither a foodblog nor a fashionblog. Nevertheless, I will put some pictures about fashion, food and other interesting things in my posts. It is like you are a participant in my life.

I named my blog silvercloverleaf and it has a special meaning. Now I can use a term which I have learned at the university *smile*. 'silvercloverleaf' is a blending, two or more words are combined in order to create a new word. 'silver' is from the term silver lining which has a special meaning. The dark clouds represent the difficulties and hard times which everyone get through. These clouds block the sun but if you look closely, you'll always see sunshine which comes from the edges of clouds. So, there is always hope.
'cloverleaf' is my name. No, not really. But the meaning of my name is cloverleaf.
It doesn't mean that I am the hope for everyone. It does mean that I, 'cloverleaf', live according to the motto 'silver lining'. Don't be upset if you have a hard time. Look up and see that you should be thankful for what you have. And if something terrible happened, you should think that every act has a reason. Of course, it is hard to see that because sometimes it is really unfair. But trust me, it works. You will see your life in a new perspective. Furthermore, you won't be that angry and sad like before.

 I hope that you will enjoy reading my blog. If I don't post articles regularly, then I apologize by now. I'm a student and sometimes I have not so much freetime to spend it with friends or write some posts. You will then know that I have to study for my exams. I hope you'll understand.
